The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) is re-branding the Caribbean Gift and Craft Show (CGCS) to ensure that it takes the promotion of gift and craft in the region, to new levels of excellence. 

The re-branded CGCS will be:  

• A curated and invitational show, promoting the “Best of the Best” of the Caribbean
• The focus will be on handicraft and gifts only
• It will be a launch pad for new product collections, design-led and regional in scope
• New award categories will be introduced
• It will be a smaller show targeted at select trade buyers both regional and international
• It will be a trade only show with private viewing for specially invited guests and one evening open to the public
• It will utilise the talents of regional designers as product designers, graphic and space designers and for guidance on branding

·         International guests will be invited to showcase their works as a stimulus to the generation of new ideas

 We are planning to host the 16^th CGCS in the Bahamas in 2010 during the June-August period.  In the coming months the re-branded CGCS will be officially launched and a series of other promotional activities undertaken in regional and select international markets.
